04 Feb Valentine’s Day Gift Guide For Him
This week has been filled with friends and acquaintances asking me for gift ideas for the men in their lives. With Valentine’s day just around the corner, have you decided on a perfect gift for him? As I sat down to get some ideas for my clients and started curating gifts, I decided to share some of my finds. I hope this guide helps you find what you are looking for, let me know what you think. All links are shoppable so all you have to do is click to buy and don’t forget to select the gift-wrap option.
If you still need assistance please feel free to reach out to me, all I need is 10 minutes of your time and a budget. All gifts come ready for gifting where I do the work and you get the kisses or credit. To simplify the shopping guide I separated everything into categories. You will find a variety of price points as I work with different budgets when curating gifts and wanted to show you many options. I always suggest when shopping for gifts you choose a theme and stick with it. Before starting ask yourself who is he and what does he need, for example what sport is he into, does he enjoy grilling, is he a business man, does he need skin care and so on.
**** please note prices may vary from what is listed. I added the price that was currently showing on the site. I also shop marked downs,
If you prefer for me to shop for you just let me know, I always search out the best deals for my clients.
Below you will find some lounge and sleep wear options. These are great to buy as sets or separates. This is perfect for the guy that likes to be cozy at home. You can also pare it with a bottle of scotch or wine and the beautiful glass wear you will find further down. With this you can also create a “just chill” gift basket by adding some skin care and candles.
Below options are all under $30.
Most men don’t have robes but I found that a lot of them love them once they get one. Great for after a hot shower or on a chilly evening while lounging on the couch. Here are two options, one for $30 by Izod and the Ralph Lauren one for $130. Pair it with a cozy Ugg slipper. Word of advise, instead of going out on Valentines day cook him a nice dinner while wearing his Valentines day robe.
Have a vacation planned or your hunny needs an updated swim wardrobe, below are some of my favorites. Sticking with a theme makes gift giving easy and fun. Wrap it in Victoria Secret or Sports Illustrated (swim edition) magazine to add a personal touch.
Penguine or Leo Swim shorts for $30 or splurge on a pair of Vilebrequin. If he has a son get him a matching pair of swim trunks, super cute and great for family photos.
Add a pair of beach slippers. I love the Nike ones for $25 and they come in many colors or spend a little more on a pair of Gucci pool slides.
Don’t forget a fun hat and a towel to complete the gift. I love this Eric Javits straw hat and its now on sale for $180 from $325. You can never go wrong with a baseball cap that he can wear time and time again.
Stripe print is classic and great for men. These beach towels will work as his and hers, if you want to be matching with your hunney.
Growing up in Brooklyn, NY all of my friends were huge sneaker heads and I luckily married one. So when I think of gift giving for him I always think a cool pair of kicks. As Sir Edwin Hardy Amis once said “It is totally impossible to be well-dressed in cheap shoes”.
Add a pair of socks to complete the gift.
If you are looking for a gift for a man that has everything and enjoys a drink then this gift is for you. It can be fun to make as a couple or invite friends over. Splurge on a Brewart or buy a kit from Williams Sonoma for $45. Grab a pair of beer glasses for a great price, only $25, to complete the gift.
Does he love whisky? This is an awesome gift set, and you get a lot for $180. I suggest buying collectors whisky to go with it.
I personally enjoy beautiful barware, great for entertaining or enjoying as a couple. Splurge on a brand like Waterford, it is classic and great quality, which means it will last forever. And don’t forget a nice bottle opener.
If he loves to grill then it’s the perfect time to get him new tools that he will enjoy for years to come.
Every guy should have a nice tool set. Why not get him something that serves multiple purposes. Below are some of my favorites that I got for my husband throughout the years.
I find that most guys don’t splurge on skin care or grooming. Nothing says I love you like a few of my favorites from below. Great to make a gift set and a complete grooming basket. You can add a spa package to enjoy as a couple.
Add a candle to set the mood.
For the dapper guy in your life, a few style necessities.
Thank you for reading. I hope this helped you find the perfect gift for your hunney. I also suggest buying experiences that you can enjoy together, like going to a spa, taking a cooking class or a thrilling helicopter ride. I want to hear from you, please send me comments or questions. And always remember the best gift is you!
